Biography
Born in 1977, Burak Akan began his illustrious medical journey at Ankara University’s Faculty of Medicine in 1995, specializing there in 2007. He has since become an influential figure in Orthopedics and Sports Traumatology.
Burak Akan joined the Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Association as a Board Member and currently holds a similar role at the TOTBID Sports Traumatology Branch. He is also dedicated his expertise to sports, serving the Turkish Volleyball Federation and Turkish Ice Hockey Federation as a Health Committee Member between 2012-2014 and from 2009, respectively.
